Liverpool launch on Thanksgiving morning

Throw the bird in the oven on low n start the Crock pot for those sweet taters or green beans. Then come for an early morning paddle before all the mayhem starts. I'm contemplating another year gone by. We will launch from Liverpool Park, Arcadia, fl. (Actually just East of Punta Gorda, off of Rt 17, Duncan Hwy). Paddle to Rookery Island for a look see. We can cruse a bit, take pics and paddle the Peace River. There are miles of river for those wanting a Paddle or return to the launch and have a snack under the awning watching the river.. Just a Port o Pot here for your needs, No rentals. This ramp is new and steep, good soles on shoes and BE CAREFUL ! Bring Bug spray, the No See Ems like bods here ! Paddles dip at 8.00 am.
