Free Sit-Down Thanksgiving Dinner at Gulf Cove UMC

About this event

On Thursday, November 26, from noon until 3:00 p.m., Gulf Cove United Methodist Church will serve a free, sit-down Thanksgiving dinner for the community. All are welcome to come inside, have a seat, and relax. Bring your friends and savor some delicious turkey with all the traditional fixings, including dessert. Join in lively conversation with your friends and our volunteers. We especially welcome those who may be spending the holiday alone, or who are in need of a meal and good company. If you think you’ll be coming, please register on the church’s homepage, https://GulfCoveChurch.com. Registering is not mandatory, but it will give us a better chance of not running out of food. If you are homebound and live within 10 miles of the church, you can request that a meal be delivered by registering by noon on Tuesday, November 24, either online at the same website, or by calling the church at (941) 697-1747. GCUMC is located at 1100 S. McCall Road, in the Gulf Cove area of Port Charlotte, ¾ mile south of the Myakka River on Route 776.
