About this event
Retreat. Restore. Rebalance
We work with the elements to restore balance to body and mind—to soften, to ground, to remember the rhythms that are already within us.
Earth.
We step off the path and into stillness. The air is warm, carrying the scent of salt and soil. Sand shifts beneath bare feet, cool in the shade, sun-warmed where the light reaches it. A bowl of root vegetables, steam rising from herbal tea, hands passing food slowly around a shared table. The body begins to settle. The mind follows.
We arrive carrying the pace of another place. Here, we return to the ground beneath us.
Bare feet meet the sand—the earth offering its grounding presence. We walk, we stand, we feel the weight of the body held.
Water.
We move and observe nature at work. The tide rises and falls. Water finds its way around every obstacle, yielding without losing direction.
We watch, and we learn.
Nature reflects the effortless intelligence of our own bodies and minds. We take in the moment—the coolness, the movement, the vast blue space—and allow ourselves to be carried by it.
Fire.
We receive the heat of the sun and the warmth of connection. Through movement, we kindle inner fire, creating heat within the body to transform and release.
What has grown stagnant begins to move.
What we no longer need is released.
We let the warmth of the sun meet the warmth within us.
Wind.
We move at the pace of nature. There is nowhere to rush toward and nothing to accomplish. We surrender to a slower rhythm.
Nothing to do.
Nowhere to go.
Just be.
Observe.
Ether.
In the balance of all elements, space reveals itself.
Spaciousness arises within body and mind—an opening that is not forced, but naturally emerging from earth, water, fire, and wind in harmony.
Space to breathe.
Space to expand.
Space to feel lighter.
The open air invites deeper breathing, filling the body with oxygen and bringing clarity and ease. With each breath, we make room—for stillness, for possibility, for ourselves.
Let the island’s rhythm entrain you. Let tides, light, wind, and the rising and setting of the sun recalibrate what has become hurried or out of balance.
And slowly, almost without noticing, we return to ourselves.
The Rhythm of the Day
Morning
Practice, breathwork, and meditation.
Breakfast.
Water and sun.
Time to simply be.
Midday
Lunch.
Rest.
Reset.
A walk along the shore.
Time for writing, reflection, or massage.
Evening
Dinner as the light softens.
Evening practice, breathwork, and meditation.
Then, early to bed—
not long after the sun has gone down.
One day is a day on a boat journey, exploring snorkeling and sipping in the underwater world.
One day a Thai massage for you.
A day shaped not by the clock,
but by the elements.
By light and tide.
By hunger and rest.
By movement and stillness.
A return to the pace of nature
